Since I was able to install the product 2 years ago, I can only assume that I had the serial number then, but have subsequently lost it. Both my Mac and Windows installation disks were in the same sleeve, and that sleeve does not contain a serial number. I checked online and it said the serial number should be on the sleeve of the Windows disk. I have read everything on the box and the disk sleeve and found nothing which could be a serial number. I put the disk in, went through the installation process, but am stuck at the final hurdle: I cannot find the product's serial number. I have recently had to run a factory reset on my PC and am now in the process of trying to re-install PSE2018. I installed it and stuck the disk in a drawer. In 2018 I bought a physical copy of Photoshop Elements 2018.
The very sophisticated Expert level takes much time and patience to master, but the effort is very much worth while. There are three levels, from Easy to Expert. Regarding complexity: It can be made easy or difficult to learn de pending upon which level you choose to select. My problem is that right after buying it for nearly $80, some retailers began selling it for $50. This is a very much worthwhile investment. There are also some great new features that I believe were brought over from the Photoshop program. I moved up from Version 11, so I don't know if the versions between 11 and 14 contained Adobe RAW. For those who shoot RAW, Version 14 has the Adobe RAW program built right in. But all through the years the Editing segment has been superb, and Version 14 is the best yet.
I have never used it, so I can't comment on the PSE-14 version re: Organization. Most complaints through the years have been directed at the Organization segment of PSE.
